Google Homepage Gets a Makeover
Google's on a roll with announcements with the launch of their latest social site Google+ and now they've given their homepage a slight makeover as well. It's a new day and a new Google.

Cleaner..
The changes, expected to take place at a gradual pace, will make the homepage look cleaner, with lesser icons onboard, for starters. Google lists down its plan of action under three major heads, namely Focus, Elasticity, and Effortlessness. With the gradual changes that Google would add to its homepage, and its other services, it also says that it will allow users to place all their attention only on what they want, and that the rest would be taken care of, by Google. Also, with technology enabling different devices being capable of web browsing, Google will also, in tandem, make the required alterations. Lastly, the search giant claims to make the entire process a seemingly effortless one.
Wiggins signs off his post by saying, "Starting today and over the course of the next few months, look for a series of design improvements across all our products, including Google Search, Google Maps and Gmail."
So keep your eyes peeled as shall we.
