The original device was reported to have a 1GHz Dual-Core Processor with 1GB RAM. Obviously that was doomed to be outdated by the time the tablet made its presence in an official capacity. So Samsung in an effort to keep their new device as fresh as possible has decided to up the processing power of the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to a Quad Core of the 1.5GHz variety. This will significantly boost the overall capabilities of the tablet making it something the rest of its kin would seriously need to contend with. The Tab 2 10.1 will also be a little thicker than its older siblings but by how much is yet unknown. A few design changes here and there are also expected.
A commendable effort surely from Samsung. The launch date of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has yet to be announced and we are waiting in eager anticipation. Let’s just hope the price is not too much of a deterrent.
