More features and better functioning..

Twitter 2.0 offers a re-designed navigation bar that will hopefully help users in browsing through their Twitter account smoothly. There’s a new compose Tweet button to make tweeting a little more convenient. The search screen has been revised by adding a text search and now there are tools for finding users as well. Devices running on BlackBerry 6 have a system-wide universal search that will also give you results from Twitter. Last but not the least; the overall design has undergone a facelift giving it a nice chrome look.

So that’s what you’ll be getting with the latest version of Twitter. Probably if RIM added a feature called “free texting to friends worldwide”, we could see the BlackBerry Messenger getting some competition. Anyways, you can click here to download Twitter 2.0 for your BlackBerry device.
