Ex-Amazon employee working at Google outlines Google+ failure

Companies are very careful in how they handle their reactions and expressions of their employees on the web. An employee of Google, who previously worked at Amazon has outlined some of the ways both companies operate and their practices. The individual who goes by the name of Rip Rowan has posted a really long post on Google+, which hasn’t been taken down yet. He starts by saying “...Amazon does everything wrong, and Google does everything right.”. He talks about Jeff Bezos, CEO, Amazon saying “Jeff Bezos is an infamous micro-manager. He micro-manages every single pixel of Amazon's retail site.“ He says that this micro-managing habit that Amazon does better than Google can’t be stated as a good or a bad thing.

He goes on to talk about Google not understanding Google+. He says "Google+ is a prime example of our complete failure to understand platforms from the very highest levels of executive leadership (hi Larry, Sergey, Eric, Vic, howdy howdy) down to the very lowest leaf workers (hey yo). We all don't get it.". The tongue-in-cheek language used through the post and detailing the strengths and weaknesses of both companies has attracted a lot attention.
