At its E3 2014 press conference, Electronic Arts showed off the much-awaited The Sims 4. While it isn’t immediately clear how many new gameplay features The Sims 4 will finally have, EA says you would be able to have more control over your sims’ character traits and personality. Players would be able to control their ‘sims' hearts.’ Check out the video showed on stage at the conference.
The trailer shows a situation where your mood could be affected by what happens in the past. It remains to be seen how much far back these influences could go. It also shows how your mood changes might affect other sims. And finally, Sims 4 could allow players to download other players’ sims, which sounds rather creepy, given the amount of character and personality building that goes on with some sims. The Sims 4 is about to hit PC and Mac on September 2 this year and unlike last year’s SimCity, this one is designed to be completely offline single player game. The Sims series can be counted as one of the most popular gaming franchises in history, having sold over 175 million copies worldwide as of September last year. E3 video credit: Gamespot
