Dell Launches The Dell Streak 10 Pro in China
The 10-inch tablet market is expanding and the competition is heating up.


Dell's first 10-inch tablet
According to a report, the 10.1-inch tablet from Dell will feature 1280 x 800 pixels, LCD capacitive touchscreen display with Corning's Gorilla glass. This is the same glass used in Lenovo’s rugged ThinkPad, the X1. The tablet weighs in at 727g and has a thickness of 12mm. It is a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, which weighs 565g. The Dell Streak 10 Pro features an NVIDIA 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2 T20 chipset, along with an accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Dell Stage 2.0 UI and a multi-touch input method.
As for the cameras, the Dell Streak 10 Pro features a front 2MP sensor and rear facing 5MP camera. 1080p video playback is also possible on this device. Storage capabilities of this tablet include 16GB or 32GB of onboard memory and an additional MicroSD card slot support of up to 32GB. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB.
As of now the Dell Streak 10 Pro is available only in China for approximately $599 for the 32GB version and the 16GB for $499. No word is yet available on a worldwide release.
