We reviewed the Corsair HS1 Gaming Headset a while ago, and were left very impressed with the quality it brought to the table. However, it worked with a USB DAC, which meant it could only be used with a PC, and not much else. Corsair has now rectified that with the launch of the HS1A, which is an analog version of the HS1.Analog goodness

The HS1A functions on 3.5mm jacks instead of a USB cable, thus making it possible to connect the headset to nearly any device. This should also make it possible to connect the HS1A to gaming consoles. However, it’s highly unlikely the HS1A will feature any kind of surround sound support.

The HS1A is priced at Rs. 4,200 – lower than the Rs.4,999 the HS1 costs. That much is pretty obvious though, because it doesn’t feature a DAC.
