Chrome 51 on Android to not have merged tabs any more

Google has released the latest version of Chrome for Android called Chrome 51. Along with the performance and stability fixes, Chrome 51 brings back one of the most loved feature of the Chrome mobile browser - tabs.With the Lollipop update, Chrome had got rid of the small square beside the address bar showing how many tabs you had opened. Instead it decided to merge the open tabs with the open apps. That feature would put the open tabs in the app switcher instead within the Chrome browser.This made it quite inconvenient to go back to older tabs or search effectively that webpage you opened couple of hours ago. It was certainly not liked by many. Thankfully, Chrome 51 for Android is bringing back tabs within the browser feature.Like the desktop version, the Android variant of Chrome will also include the new Credential Management API which will allow developers to use Chrome's credential managers more effectively than just to store passwords. There are new improvements with regards to scrolling as well. The Chrome 51 allows users to scroll a page without waiting for JavaScript to complete. Offscreen rendering overhead has also been reduced - which means that embedded content such as videos, social widgets and ads will no longer create excess overheads slowing down the page load time.
