Full HD 3D projector from BenQ now available in India
The projector is powered by DLP Link to delivers ultra-smooth images. The W7000 is compatible with the HDMI standard – ver. 1.4a, which means it is able to play 3D movies from a Blu-ray DVD player, live sports via cable or satellite and 3D video games on PS3 directly without additional setup. BenQ claims that the combined expertise of their projector know-how, Texas Instrument’s DynamicBlack and Philip’s VIDI lamp technology delivers an astounding 50,000:1 contrast ratio for superbly rendered image definition, even in the darkest scenes and a brilliant 2,000AL to counter any ambient room lighting.
Featuring BenQ's unique colour management system, with independent 3D colour control, preset mode, and user mode adjustment, the W7000 gives viewers the freedom to fine-tune hues, contrast, brightness, colour temperature, gamma, and white balance levels to match their individual 2D and 3D viewing preferences. For colour precision, the W7000 is built to match one of the highest high-definition video standards seen in professional-grade home projectors today: native Rec. 709 colour gamut. This enables the projector to deliver colours so real that it reflects what the human eye perceives in natural world.
The projector comes equipped with Frame Interpolation technology; this mode minimizes the appearance of motion blur and judder to give you an ultra-smooth view of all the actions in both 3D and 2D mode particularly for the fast moving scenes of sports games and movies. The Frame Interpolation Technology estimates the motion changes from frame to frame and inserts an interpolated frame between existing frames, which results in smoother motion quality.
Panamorph lens compatibility allow you to show 2.35:1 aspect format video playback, such as major studio movies - in their original widescreen format at maximum resolution with no image distortion or letterboxing, hence the users can experience the cinema class projection at home. The projector also comes equipped with PIP function, which enables a user to experience 2 signals in a single, go for example a movie and cricket match can be watched together on a single screen.
