Apple's iPhone 5 will not Launch in June or July
According to an AT&T representative, Apple will not follow its June ritual this year.
Let the rumours begin
One of MacRumors’ readers had apparently called up AT&T because his eligibility date for a subsidized update had been pushed back to five months. On enquiring about the reason, an AT&T rep gave him the following statement:
“Apple has informed us that they do not plan to release the iPhone in the June to July timeframe, though there will be a newer version in the future. Unfortunately, we have not been given a release time for the new phone. We will release this information on our website when it is available to us.”
Well that definitely doesn’t hold enough ground to say that the Cupertino-based company will not be launching their stuff as usual in June, but we’re still wondering whether the unveiling will actually take place sometime in September this year.
