Apple introduces 'How To' videos for iOS 11: Keep your Apple Pencil and iPad Pro ready

Apple uploaded six ‘How To’ videos on its YouTube channel, showing how to use the upcoming iOS 11 with an iPad, for some, an iPad Pro is required.[caption id="attachment_3945145" align="alignleft" width="380"]

Apple CEO, Tim Cook. Reuters.[/caption]The new software update was announced at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC).The first video is “How to harness the power of the new Dock’. This one has a customized dock where the user can store their favorite apps. On the homescreen itself, the user can look through the files required and open them. The second shows the ease of sharing the dock enables where, pictures can be dragged and shared at the same time through the dock.Another is titled ‘How to get the most out of your hands’. The video shows how a five-finger gesture is used to return to the home screen. Moreover, using both the hands, one picture can be dragged, holding that picture, with one finger, others can be selected using another hand.

‘How to effortlessly scan, sign, and send a document’ is especially useful for the office goers and have files to look at regularly. For this an Apple Pencil and an iPad Pro is required. The required document is scanned using the Note app. Once done, the user can sign on the document using the pencil and share it. Adding to this is another feature of iOS 11, where the user can mark on mails via the Apple Pencil immediately. For instance, the person can sign on a document attached to a mail instantly. Other uses of this involves marking on pictures by taking a screenshot.The next video is 'How to get more things done more quickly with multitasking'. Here, the user can ‘multitask’ by opening multiple apps within a single screen.The much awaited update of iOS is yet to come. Currently, it is available at a beta stage to developers and the public. However, looking at the videos, it seems that it can officially be updated soon. You can in fact take a look at all the videos on Apple's YouTube Channel.They're still not enough to convince us that an iPad is a viable PC replacement, however. At least, not yet.
