3GSM: HTC Launches Trio of Phones

It's raining Windows Mobile devices here at 3GSM and the most popular OEM of them all, HTC, is getting ready to drop some powerful new handsets that'll eventually be sold under the Orange, T-Mobile and other brands.The HTC Advantage X7500 is a small and lightweight device that features HTC's VueFLO navigation, a detachable keyboard, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, tri-band 3G and HSDPA as well. The device, also known as the HTC Athena, runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional and will include Microsoft Outlook Mobile for PIM functionality. The X7500 will go to T-mobile as the Ameo beginning of Q2 2007, with other select countries getting other branded models (Dopod U100)The HTC S710, we reported about earlier as the HTC Vox is being touted as a messaging device. It runs Windows Mobile 6 Standard as it's 2.4-inch QVGA screen is not touch sensitive, even though it has a slide out full QWERTY keypad. The S710 is going to Orange as the SPV E650 by Q2 2007.

The HTC P3350, is a device with a focus on multimedia, featuring a 2 megapixel camera, MP3/WMA playback and an FM radio tuner. The device comes with 256MB of ROM, 64MB of RAM and also a microSD memory ard slot. The display is a large, 2.8-inch QVGA screen. There's quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi b/g as well. The Windows Mobile phone comes with Windows Media Player 10 Mobile. The P3350 will also be launched around Q2.
