Microsoft's Outlook.com gets 25 mn users and an Android app

Microsoft's new email service Outlook.com seems to be doing pretty well, if one looks at the latest numbers. According to this Microsoft blog, the service already has 25 million active users.The blog post also notes that a a third of Outlook.com users are active Gmail users who are trying out Microsoft's service for the first time. The blogpost also mentions other findings from research done on active Gmail and Outlook users.• It seems that users prefer Outlook's clean user design• According to the blog, Outlook does a better job of blocking spam than Gmail.[caption id="attachment_538769" align="alignleft" width="380"] Outlook email has an Android app now.[/caption]• It also adds that after spending just five days with it, 4 out of 5 of these Gmail users said they would switch to Outlook.com.Gmail has currently has 425 million active users.
