Microsoft previews Internet Explorer 11, says it will come to Windows 7
Microsoft has showed off the next version of the Internet Explorer, IE 11 at its Build developer conference. The company has confirmed that IE 11 will be available for Windows 8.1 and that it will come to Windows 7 as well.

The company has confirmed that IE 11 will be available for Windows 8.1 and that it will come to Windows 7 as well. However it is not yet confirmed as to when Windows 7 will get IE 11.
So what exactly is new in Internet Explorer 11? According to Microsoft the changes include:
• Better touch responsiveness: IE11 has "stick to your finger" touch responsiveness which uses the GPU to process gestures such as panning, zooming, and swiping.
• Browse side-by-side: Users can now browse two sites at the same time and have the same functionality that you get in a single-window view.

• Touch optimized address bar: The address is now also touch opitimised and has site suggestions, including direct links to site sections, Bing search suggestions.
• More tabs: Users can now have up to 100 tabs per window, and Microsoft promises faster switching with tabs.
