Remember Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode which appeared to tick off Battlegrounds publishers Bluehole a couple of weeks back? Well, the mode has surpassed 7 million players across platforms, which is no small feat. It appears that players have embarked on the bandwagon en masse, and this could end up being a very real threat to PUBG’s end-of-year Xbox One release.We don’t have a platform-wise split yet (the game is out on Xbox One, PS4 and PC), however. The Battle Royale mode really seems suited to Fortnite, and the fact that Battle Royale is completely free right now is making it rather popular.Warframe: Plains of Eidolon goes live next week on PCThis is one massive update for sure.
