PUBG Mobile's long-awaited Zombie Mode still isn't here and the wait is driving fans nuts. Tencent Games meanwhile isn't done with the teasers yet.In a recent tweet, PUBG Mobile's official account yet again teased a collaboration with Resident Evil 2, with a poster in which we see a level 3 helmet with an eerie rodent of sorts on it. The teaser doesn't really pack in any easter eggs, but it does signify that the update may just be around the corner.
The zombie mode in PUBG Mobile comes after Tencent Games announced a partnership with RE Games last December, to promote the remake of Resident Evil 2 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
We have seen a bunch of leaks in the past and a bunch of teasers in the game. As per a recent report, Popular PUBG Mobile YouTubers, Mr. Ghost Gaming and Allthenewsisgoodnews have both hinted that the PUBG Mobile zombies update could be released sooner than expected.A host of videos based on the version 0.10.5 beta mode show off zombies in the waiting area. One of the videos even shows what appears to be a special map for the PUBG Mobile Zombies mode. This video could have been created based on data mined assets, but they have been found to be accurate in the past.Apart from zombies, the 0.10.5 update is also expected to introduce cosmetics for the Royale Pass. The cosmetics will appear in its fifth season and include items like fresh costumes, gun skins, and hairstyles. Some of these cosmetics also fit with the overall zombie theme as they sport a post-apocalyptic aesthetic.
