Apple iPad mini 2 and iPad 5 will have an 8 mp camera: report
Apple's latest version of iPads will have an eight megapixel camera with better lens elements, according to KGI's noted research analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is known for his accurate Apple predictions.

Getty Images[/caption]Recently Reuters had reported that iPad mini with retina display could face a supply shortage.The report which quoted supply chain sources as saying,"Apple’s supply chain is only now gearing up to make retina displays for the iPad Mini, which means the gadgets could be available in only limited quantities this year, if at all," hinting that an iPad mini with retina display might not even be launched on time.The report further added that "Apple has also told suppliers to reduce costs, two of the sources said, with one person saying the US firm is looking at rolling out an iPad Mini with a smaller 8 gigabytes of memory."An 8 GB iPad mini though is highly unlikely as Apple has stuck to the 16 GB as minimum space for some time now. Also with such little space and no-microSD slot, not many users would want to buy an iPad mini with 8 GB space.Apple's iPad mini and iPad 5 are likely to be launched towards the end of October if one were to go by the schedule that Apple followed last year.
