Chelsea striker Fernando Torres won the Golden Boot as the top scorer in the 2012 European championship.The Spaniard, who scored a goal and an assist in Spain's 4-0 crushing of Italy in the final, finished with three goals and an assist along with Germany striker Mario Gomez, but took the accolade for having played for shorter duration than his rival, reported Xinhua.[caption id="attachment_364049" align="alignleft" width="380" caption="Torres scores Spain's third goal against Italy.
