'We are sorry' - Twitterati apologise for Husain's exile

News that M.F. Husain had passed away in a hospital in London was picked up on Twitter very quickly, with users such as @argus48 asking if "reports of his death" were true. Hindustan Times confirmed the news shortly after, prompting a flood of responses on Twitter. These included tweets by celebrities such as Barkha Dutt who had interviewed him on multiple occasions, and writer Taslima Nasreen who tweeted, "M.F.Hussain could not spend his last days in his motherland! Cry,the beloved country. Cry." However the 'regular' Twiteratti were also quick to react.
