Watch: VJ Jose proves Mumbai auto drivers are immune to Jedi mind tricks

For those living in Mumbai without their own vehicles, rejection by auto rickshaw drivers is an everyday affair.[caption id="attachment_2556912" align="alignleft" width="380"] Jose being a Jedi. Screengrab[/caption]This refusal can be based on a number of things, from their mood to whims, to alignment of the stars, sometimes the distance or destination, never mind the fact that refusing passengers is against the law.And god forbid, we have to go to Andheri, the reaction from rickshaw driver is instantaneous, and swift and brutal — much like Mace Windu's decapitation of Jango Fett in The Attack of the Clones.It often makes us wonder if we could use hypnosis to convince the drivers to take us to our destination.But a recent video by Mumbai-based comedian VJ José shows that even Jedi mind tricks do not work on our strong-willed rickshaw drivers, much like Jabba the Hutt.Dressed in the Obi-Wan Kenobi outfit, armed with a lightsaber, José tried to convince a rickshaw to ferry him to Andheri. Of course, it doesn't work but it gives us a hilarious video to laugh over. Watch it here
