Watch: New MP CM in old video putting on a spectacular sword play
As soon as the BJP announced the decision to make Yadav the new chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, an old video of the 58-year-old from Ujjain has gone viral on social media

In a surprise move, the BJP has selected Mohan Yadav, a prominent member of the Yadav community, as the new chief minister of Madhya Pradesh.
Yadav's selection was unexpected. Although over half of the state's population is OBC, it's interesting to note that the Yadav community is not among the most powerful.
Yadav was chosen as the party's legislative leader on Monday evening, 15 days after the BJP crushed the Congress to win the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections.
As soon as the BJP announced the decision to make Yadav the new chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, an old video of the 58-year-old from Ujjain has gone viral on social media.
The video purportedly shows Yadav displaying his sword fighting skills.
In an effort to defuse tensions before the 2024 Lok Sabha election, the BJP also announced the appointment of Jagdish Devda and Rajesh Shukla as deputy chief ministers. Nearly 60,000 votes separated Devda from Malhagarh and Shukla's fifth-term victory in the Rewa seat, which came down to just 21,000 votes.
Shukla and Devda were cabinet members in earlier state administrations headed by Chouhan.
