Visva-Bharati revisited: School boy made to drink urine in Tamil Nadu

In a shocking rewind of the Visva-Bharati incident which left the nation stunned, a 14-year-old boy in the Perambalur district of Tamil Nadu, was made to drink his own urine and beaten up by three teachers in his school. According to a Times Now report, the ninth standard student needed to use the washroom and had been requesting the teachers repeatedly to be allowed to go to the bathroom.The teachers first denied, then irked at being pestered, allegedly beat him up and made him drink his own urine.[caption id="attachment_385577" align="alignleft" width="380"] A student in Tamil Nadu was made to drink urine by his teachers. Action will be taken against the culprits following that.Reports say that there are visible injury marks and swellings on the boy's body and he had to be admitted to a government hospital in his hometown for treatment.However, the report mentions that, the teachers who are said to have attacked him have been already suspended by the school authorities.
