Vijayawada's ACB court on Thursday extended Chandrababu Naidu's remand till November 1 in connection with the alleged skill development scam.Currently, he is lodged in the Rajamahendravaram central prison in Andhra Pradesh.The former Andhra chief minister is under judicial remand for allegedly misappropriating funds from the Skill Development Corporation, which resulted in a purported loss of over Rs 300 crore to the state exchequer.Naidu was presented before the judge virtually as his judicial remand ended today.The ACB judge enquired about Naidu’s health before extending the remand.According to reports, Naidu expressed apprehension about the security provided to him in the jail.The judge directed the jail authorities to submit timely reports about the health condition of the former CM to which they replied that a medical team was overseeing the health condition of the accused.With inputs from agencies
