Visakhapatnam: In a shocking incident, a teacher in a private school in Andhra Pradesh's Visakhapatnam district broke the arm of a upper KG student for not doing her homework, officials said on Wednesday.[caption id="attachment_4161437" align="alignleft" width="380"]Representational image. Getty images[/caption]According to reports reaching Visakhapatnam, a woman teacher at National Talent School at Vaddadi in Bucchaiahpet 'mandal' (block) mercilessly beat up Puja Pallavi, a student of UKG, as she had not done her home work.The girl complained of severe pain and also had swelling on her arm. The parents took her to a doctor, who informed them after x-ray report that her arm has fractured.The girl's father V Nagesh and other relatives staged protest at the school and demanded action against the teacher.Mandal Education Officer and the police conducted an investigation. The girl's relatives pacified after the school management promised to take action against the teacher and bear the cost of the student's treatment.
