New Delhi: In a tragic turn of events, a woman in Delhi’s Prashant Vihar area died after falling off a rickshaw while resisting a snatching attempt, officials informed on Thursday.As per the cops, the incident was reported on Wednesday.Initial investigation revealed that the woman was going by rickshaw when the miscreants coming on a scooter tried to snatch the woman's bag. In reaction, the woman while protesting the thieves fell down from the rickshaw.Later the bystanders took her to the hospital immediately where she was received treatment for few hours however succumbed to injuries later. Police have registered an FIR in the matter. “Teams have been formed and soon they would be arrested.” An official said.
