Muzaffarnagar riots: Ajmer shrine 'dewan' condems violence

Jaipur: Condemning the violence in Muzaffarnagar, spiritual head of Ajmer shrine today said the demand of dismissal of UP government was "unwarranted" and its efforts in controlling the situation should not be disturbed.The dargah 'dewan', Zainul Abedin Ali Khan, today appealed the people of Muzaffarnagar to not get swayed by the "plans of anti-social elements".[caption id="attachment_1102463" align="alignleft" width="380"]Representational image. PTI[/caption]He said it was "unwarranted" to seek dismissal of Uttar Pradesh government and efforts of the government should not be disturbed by such demands."The tragedy has caused immense and unbearable pain to every sensible human being. However, some unwarranted voices seeking dismissal of UP Government in the wake of such tragic incidents are definitely going to disturbed the efforts of the administration," Khan said in a statement today.It is most unfortunate that certain political parties and leaders are "wantonly" seeking to capitalise on the tragic disturbance in UP, he said."At the moment, I call upon responsible citizen to stop mudslinging and focus their energies to bail the nation out of this curse," he said.PTI
