Saluting bravehearts: IndiGo pilot shows the way on how to honour a war-hero

Former Indian Air Force fighter pilot Rajiv Tyagi shared on Facebook how an IndiGo Airlines captain and an ex-IAF pilot Harish Nayani proudly announced of having the war-hero as a passenger aboard the flight.

Image from IndiGo Twitter handle[/caption]Former Indian Air Force fighter pilot Rajiv Tyagi shared on Facebook how an IndiGo Airlines captain and an ex-IAF pilot Harish Nayani proudly announced of having the war-hero as a passenger aboard the flight."Harish Nayani, 62nd course, Kilo Squadron, NDA, erstwhile IAF fighter pilot, now a Captain flying for Indigo Airlines, had a war-hero passenger on his flight the other day. Naik Deep Chand, who lost both legs and his right arm in the 1999 Kargil War, was flying Indigo. Harish announced the presence of the war hero on the flight, to the delighted applause of 180 passengers. This is all the recognition war heroes need, for acts no nation can repay them for," Tyagi said in his Facebook updated.Overwhelmed by the response the post got, the former IAF officer posted again.

There are hundreds of ex IAF pilots flying in civil aviation but none could think of something this. Hope the others too give veterans their due.
