The sixth generation of the muscle car would feature independent rear suspension for a comfortable ride on Indian roads, reported Deccan Chronicle.According to India Today, the Indian version of the Ford Mustang will see the flagship 5.0-litre Ti-VCT V8 engine that generates 420 bhp and 515 Nm of torque with automatic transmission.The new Ford Mustang also features launch control, electronic line-lock and drive modes.The Ford Mustang, priced at Rs 65 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi, would attract import duties as it will be sold in India through the Completely Built Up (CBU) route, reported The Financial Express.”We are not really targeting any age group particularly with the Mustang. Traditional definitions of customer segments are blurring, ” The Times of India quoted Anurag Mehrotra, Ford’s executive director of marketing and sales.More than 9 million units of the Ford Mustang have been sold across the world since its launch in 1964, the report added.
