Fire in plastic factory in south Delhi, one person critically injured

A 47-year-old security guard suffered critical burn injuries in a fire in a plastic factory in south Delhi on Friday, Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said.

New Delhi: A 47-year-old security guard suffered critical burn injuries in a fire in a plastic factory in south Delhi on Friday, Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said.[caption id="attachment_2802312" align="alignleft" width="380"]File photo of Delhi police. AFP[/caption]The incident was reported around 7.45 am from Naraina industrial area.A fire service official said 12 fire tenders took around one and a half hours to douse the flames.Security guard Jitender Kumar from Bihar suffered burn injuries while he was cooking food on the ground floor of the three-storey factory."Jitender Kumar was rushed to Safdarjung Hospital with 70 percent burn injuries," the official said.
