Woman executive molested in five star hotel in Delhi, fired after raising complaint with HR

Reuters[/caption]The woman has also alleged that the accused tried to pull her inside his car after work and kept driving alongside her as she walked to the Metro station, reports The Times of India. The victim complained to the human resources department hoping for action against the accused but it was she who ended up out of a job. She then went to the police with her complaint but while an FIR has been registered, no arrests have been made.According to NDTV, the incident took place on the victim's birthday two weeks ago. The accused called the woman to his cabin and offered to buy her a gift. He then asked her to sit. She refused after which he pulled her towards himself and tried to take off her saree. The victim also alleged that the man tried to "get physical" with her and then asked her to spend the night with him in the hotel.The report further adds that when the victim reported for duty on Thursday, she met with the human resources department and was fired. A colleague who had helped her in obtaining the CCTV footage was fired as well.The hotel's PR officer told ANI that the accused has been suspended.
