Elated to join the Indian Army, 183 OTA cadets celebrate their last day as trainees

Solaris Images[/caption][caption id="attachment_2672142" align="alignleft" width="940"] After having completed the 49-week rigorous training module, the 183 trainee cadets were officially inducted  into the Indian Army as Lieutenants.  Solaris Images[/caption][caption id="attachment_2672144" align="alignleft" width="940"] Like every year, the OTA held the traditional pipping ceremony where proud parents unveil the stars on every cadet's shoulder. He spoke to the newly commissioned officers and encouraged them to be worthy of respect from subordinates and understand the unique commitment expected of each of them. Solaris Images[/caption][caption id="attachment_2672150" align="alignleft" width="940"] General Dalbir Singh further went on to talk about how the Indian Army is the 'most admired and respected institution'.
