Barkha Dutt faces flak on social media for lashing out at Arnab Goswami
While Barkha Dutt lashed out at Arnab Goswami for calling other Indian news channels as sympathisers of terrorists and "pro-Pakistan" on his 26 July show, Dutt was, in turn, slammed on social media for reacting the way she did.

Soon, the journalist came under fire for voicing her views on Facebook, as people felt it made little sense for a 'biased' journalist like her to be ashamed of another.

With thousands of comments questioning her work in the Kargil war, to an endorsement by Hafiz Saeed, Dutt has been plagued with never-ending accusations. Few even questioned her pro-Congress remarks and reporting against the BJP.
Dutt was also questioned largely about her journalistic ethics, after the Radia tapes controversy.
People also raised concerns about how the journalist never sympathised with brave soldiers or Kashmiri pandits.
Dutt came under intense criticism for her coverage of Hizbul Mujahideen leader Burhan Wani, as the son of a school teacher and not a 'terrorist'. People called her "corrupt" and a "terror sympathiser".
She was also targetted for revealing the Indian Army's strategies during the Kargil war and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.
The issue soon turned out to be against Dutt's reporting rather than Arnab Goswami's views. While very few supported her, many stated that the both were just two sides of the same coin.
