Muzaffarnagar: A 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her teacher at knife-point in a school at Budakheri village.[caption id="attachment_729649" align="alignleft" width="380"]Image for representation only. AFP[/caption]The teacher, Brijender, has been arrested and booked under IPC sections376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) and POCSO Act after the incident yesterday, Circle Officer Yogenderpal Singh said.According to the complaint lodged by the victim's father, the girl was allegedly detained after school by the teacher. The girl was taken to a room by the accused who raped her at knife-point and threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident to anyone, the father alleged.The traumatized victim's wails alerted the local people who arrived at the spot and nabbed the teacher. He was beaten up by the angry people before being handed over to the police.The victim was sent for a medical examination. Security has been tightened in the area after incident.PTI
