Airlines offer special fares for honeymoon couples
AirAsia, which is launching its domestic services soon, is offering promotional fares to exciting and romantic honeymoon destinations such as Langkawi, Bali and Phuket from Kuala Lumpur.

New Delhi: Eyeing the wedding season in India and newly-weds planning their honeymoons abroad, airlines have come up with special fares for travel to destinations like Mauritius, Malaysia and Thailand.
While Dubai-based Emirates is offering 20 percent discount for newly-wed Indian travellers as special gift for their honeymoon travel, Malaysia-based low cost carrier AirAsia is giving promotional fares to them for travel to Langkawi, Bali and Phuket from Kuala Lumpur.[caption id="attachment_1269637" align="alignleft" width="380"]

The bookings for the flights to 20 select destinations including Mauritius, Cape Town, London, Paris, Zurich, New York and Frankfurt between 4 and 7 December for travel until March 31, 2014, a statement from Emirates said.
"This is considered the wedding season in India and couples will be in the process of planning their honeymoons," said Essa Sulaiman Ahmad, Emirates' Vice President (India and Nepal).
AirAsia, which is launching its domestic services soon, is offering promotional fares to exciting and romantic honeymoon destinations such as Langkawi, Bali and Phuket from Kuala Lumpur.
The airline is offering all-in-fares from Rs 5,000 one way from Kochi, Kolkata and Tiruchirappalli to Kuala Lumpur and from Chennai or Bangalore to the Malaysian capital from Rs 6,500 one way.
Newly-weds can connect to destinations in Malaysia such as Langkawi, Bali and Phuket from Kuala Lumpur for an all-inclusive-fare from Rs 2,999 one way.
Booking be open till 15 December, for travel from 6 January to 30 April next year, an airline statement said.
