Details about Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez's characters from their upcoming action-thriller A Gentleman have finally been revealed, and the fans of both actors are bound to be thrilled.[caption id="attachment_3520459" align="alignleft" width="380"]

[/caption]The film stars Siddharth Malhotra in two avatars — 'Sundar, Susheel Gaurav' and 'Risky Rishi' — whereas Jacqueline Fernandez takes on the character of 'Impulsive Kavya'.Gaurav is supposed to be a calm simpleton, while Rishi channels the quintessentially rugged, macho 'bad-boy' stereotype.When asked whether he has a double role in the movie, Malhotra said, "It is not inherently a double role, but there are two sides of the character. One side of the character wants a simple, happy life with a nice house, family and he has a sense of humour. The other side of the character is outlandish, aggressive and one who jumps out of a 60-storey building," according to an IANS report.Jacqueline's character and the subsequent photograph that was shared gives off a quirky, full-of-life vibe. Fernandez's look from the movie was shared on social media via Malhotra's Instagram profile.Kavya's character, although deeply in love with that of Gaurav, wishes that the 'nice guy' would take some risks in life and do something spontaneous, wild and out of character. Malhotra will be seen playing around with both frying pans and guns in this movie. The movie's action sequences have been performed by Malhotra and Fernandez themselves, according to a Mid-Day report."My character Gaurav is a very interesting, sweet character who loves to cook, clean up his house, etc like a typical Delhi Punjabi boy. On the other hand, there is a different shade where he is doing a lot of action," said Malhotra when asked about his avatars in the movie.Directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K said there are scenes in A Gentleman which could remind viewers of the Rishi Kapoor-Dimple Kapadia starrer Bobby, according to the same IANS report.The looks and character details were unveiled at in event in Mumbai on 7 July. During the same event, the trailer of the movie was also screened for select media houses, according to the same Mid-Day report.Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the first look of Malhotra's two avatars in the movie.A Gentleman sees Jacqueline Fernandez Sidharth Malhotra playing each other's love interests for the first time. However, the two actors have previously appeared in the 2015 movie Brothers together.Malhotra shared an image on Twitter from one of the romantic scenes between himself and Fernandez, stating that the movie had a little bit of everything — action, romance and comedy.For the longest time, this movie was speculated to be a sequel to the 2014 Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Bang Bang. It is shot in Bangkok, Miami, Mumbai and Goa. Malhotra called his upcoming movie 'popcorn action' according to a report, comparing it to the serious action roles that he has essayed previously in Ek Villain and Brothers.
