The International Automobil-Ausstellung or the International Automobile Exhibition, the world's largest auto-show which is held bi-annually in Frankfurt will end on 25 September. This year's exhibition saw the display of a number of concept cars, many of which are low-emission, high performance cars.

The show goes back to the 19th century, though of course its grown more impressive and larger as time has passed. Perhaps in keeping with Germany's Green policy, this year's show had an entire hall devoted to electric cars. Some major car-makers that showcased their latest models are Audi, Mercedes, Porsche, LandRover, Opel, BMW, Volkswagon, Buggati, etc.
