Indian designer's fashion tips for Britney Spears

New Delhi: International singer Britney Spears, who was reportedly criticised for her dressing sense by "The X Factor" co-judge Simon Cowell, should wear clothes that accentuate her curves, suggests Indian celebrity designer Rocky S.

Spears, 30, is said to have mellowed her wardrobe for the show.

Rocky S, who has dressed celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu, Priyanka Chopra and more recently even Beyonce Knowles, says Spears should take advantage of her "amazing personality" and "strong attitude" to carry off "different kinds of outfits".

"Since she is one of the judges on 'The X Factor', a show that is extremely successful worldwide, everyone is going to look forward to what she wears during the episodes," Rocky S said in a statement.

Asked what, according to him, should be Spears' style statement on the show, he said: "Britney has a great body and I believe that she should wear ensembles that accentuate her features. Smart, casual-coloured denims teamed with subtle-coloured racer-backs and vests, a tee teamed with a perfectly fitted jacket or blazer with peep-toe pumps or wedges, or a chic dull sequin-sheathed short dress with peep-toe stilettoes can be glamorous."

"Also, a one-shoulder fitted dress in a soothing colour palette teamed with a cooler pair of heels is a great choice. In fact, even a bold-but-not-so-busy printed wrap dress with stiletto heels would do wonders for Britney," he added.

The new season of "The X Factor" went on air in the US Wednesday, while in India it will be aired on BIG CBS Prime, Love and Spark, staring Friday.
