Don't use 'Make in India' logo without permission, says govt

New Delhi:The government today "strictlyprohibited" use of the 'Make in India' logo without its priorpermission.

"Use of the Make in India logo is strictly prohibitedwithout permission of DIPP (Department of Industrial Policyand Promotion," the department said.

On 25 September, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched'Make in India' campaign and its logo.

Launching his government's ambitious project to makeIndia a manufacturing hub, Modi had promised effective and easy governance to help achieve high growth and creation ofjobs.
