Stellar Releases Updated Version Of E-mail Repair Software

Data protection and recovery software maker Stellar Information Systems has released Stellar Phoenix Mailbox-Exchange Desktop 2.0, an updated version of its e-mail repair and recovery software for MS Outlook/Exchange.

The new version, which is claimed to expedite the recovery process, supports MS Outlook 2003 with a new improved user interface.

The Phoenix Mailbox-Exchange Desktop is an OST File Conversion Software that is designed to convert unusable Microsoft Exchange Offline Storage Files (.OST) file to a Personal Storage File (.PST) file that can be used with MS Outlook. It can recover e-mail with attachment, appointments, contacts, notes, tasks, journals, drafts, calendars, etc.

The software can also restore formatting from RTF and HTML messages and recover encrypted files. It even claims to recover password-protected files and deleted attachments.

The software is available both in the ESD (downloadable) form via Stellar website at www.stellarinfo.com as well as the physical disc (CD-ROM) at $249.
