Raritan Introduces KVM Switch For SMEs

Raritan has announced the launch of its expreZo EZswitch, a new KVM which allows small to medium-sized businesses to access and control computers that need rebooting or troubleshooting in their datacentres. This entry level KVM switch comes in 8-port & 16-port models and can be scaled to connect up to 5000 servers- an industry first in this category.

With an on-screen display and cascade chain functions, it helps ensure that the business/user maintains server uptime while minimising expensive travel costs. The EZswitches are compact taking-up little space in the server room. They can be connected to computers via PS/2 and/or USB plugs and supports Windows, Linux, Mac OS9/OSX and Sun Microsystems OSs. It also allows easy switching between connected devices and supports the highest video resolution (2048 x 1536).
