Quantum Appoints Sanjay Dutta As India Country Manager
Dutta will focus on helping India businesses protect their critical data with Quantum's disk, tape and software solutions.
Quantum Corp has announced the appointment of Sanjay Dutta as the country manager for Quantum India. As country manager, he will focus on helping India businesses of all sizes protect their critical data with Quantum's disk, tape and software solutions.
Dutta's appointment is part of a broader initiative aimed at expanding investment of Quantum's sales, pre-sales, marketing, and service in India. Quantum is recruiting for open positions in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore. Sunny John will focus on increasing Quantum India's channel presence as director, Channel Sales and Business Development.
"As India businesses expand, their data storage requirements continue to grow significantly," said Jeff Lebold, MD of Asia-Pacific for Quantum. "Sanjay Dutta's appointment reflects Quantum's plans to further invest in the India market in the areas of sales, marketing, and service.”
Dutta previously served as country manager for Blade Servers in IBM India's x-server division.
