Polaris Retail Achieves SAP NetWeaver Certification

Polaris Retail Infotech (PRIL), a retail software provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Software Lab Ltd recently announced that its flagship product, Retail Excel has achieved SAP NetWeaver Certification.

Polaris Retail achieved “Powered by SAP NetWeaver” certification through its successful integration with SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) and a Business Package for SAP Enterprise Portal. Retail Excel’s Point-of-Sale and Store Solution module integrates seamlessly with SAP Supply Chain & Distribution and provides a box like integrated end-to-end solution for retailers.

Commenting on the certification, Mohit Oberoi, Business Head, PRIL, said, “The SAP certification is a significant milestone in the company’s business roadmap. With this, PRIL is equipped to enter the International market and scale up its domestic presence.”

PRIL currently has over 70 customers with presence in 3000 stores. SAP NetWeaver is the open integration and application platform that integrates people, information, and processes. Retail Excel, the flagship product from PRIL is integrated with SAP at Vishal Retail, DCM Shriram-Hariyali Kissan Bazaar, Godrej Agrovet and OWM Nahar (Monte Carlo & Cotton County). Other Retail clients of PRIL include retail chains like Food Express Retail-Total Hypermarkets, Media Mart (The India Today Group), Ritu Kumar, Amartex and Maspar.
