Maxell Appoints Rashi As Its Distributor

Maxell Asia, a storage media vendor, has announced its tie-up with Rashi Peripherals for its DLT, DAT, Super DLT and LTO Ultrium range of products in India.

Announcing the tie-up, Akio Uematsu, MD, Maxell Asia Singapore, said, "Maxell, with its range of storage products for various segments and Rashi's pan-India reach as well as its range of complimenting products will help us gain the right market share".

Maxell is an old player in the storage segment and has a legacy of products ranging from video tapes, floppy disks, MiniDiscs, Broadcasting audio and video tapes etc.

Suresh Pansari, director, Rashi Peripherals, said, "Enterprise storage options was missing in our product portfolio and Maxell with its wide product range is just the right choice for us. This will also help them further strengthen their enterprise customer base".

To create awareness amongst the channel partners, both Maxell and Rashi recently concluded dealer meets in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi where more than 240 partners attended the meets.
