HP, Godrej Enter Into Strategic IT Outsourcing Agreement

Godrej has selected Hewlett-Packard India to implement a strategic IT outsourcing and transformation project that will include infrastructure solutions, SAP Application Services, consulting and outsourced services.

This strategic outsourced partnership between HP and Godrej will power various business transformation initiatives within Godrej and ensure long-term growth and competitive edge.

As part of the ten-year strategic outsourcing contract, HP will implement tailor made solutions for Godrej Industries and Godrej Consumer Products. HP will lead the IT transformation exercise by implementing a scalable and reliable service delivery structure based on ITIL standards. This includes application support and management for SAP, Peoplesoft and other critical business applications.

Further, Godrej’s IT operational team will transition to HP, thereby providing them with enhanced career opportunities in an IT organisation. Godrej would retain the IT management staff who along with the HP Team will align Godrej’s IT with its business needs, providing the company’s infrastructure the reliability and scalability it requires, to stay ahead of industry growth.
