GlobalLogic Expands Presence In India
GlobalLogic has acquired Movius Interactive's captive development centre in Bangalore, India.
GlobalLogic, a player in the software product development space, has signed a master service agreement with Movius Interactive, a provider of messaging, collaboration and interactive mobile media solutions.
As part of this agreement, GlobalLogic has acquired the company’s captive development centre in Bangalore, India. Through this relationship, Movius will be able to accelerate product innovation and shorten time to market by leveraging GlobalLogic’s product development experience, Velocity Platform and distributed agile method.
"By joining forces with GlobalLogic, an acknowledged player in the outsource product development market, Movius will have immediate access to world-class processes and methods for software product development and customisation," said Jay Whitehurst, SVP, Products and Technology, Movius. "GlobalLogic’s track record will help us accelerate product development timelines and provide us the flexibility to rapidly supplement our own development team resources as needed."
