CSI's 45th Annual Convention, iGen

The Computer Society of India is gearing up to kick start its 45th Annual Convention- iGen, on 25 November 2010. The three day event will be held in Mumbai and has an exciting agenda lined up for those participating. Expected at the convention are close to 80 speakers in eight tracks. Eminent speakers include, Prof. D. B. Phatak, IIT Bombay; Dr. Nitin Kareer, Principal Secretary, IT, Maharashtra; B Venugopal, Exec Dir IT, LIC of India, among others.
Also expected to grace the event are Sachin Pilot, Union Minister for State, Communications and Information technology, Govt of India; Gurudas kamat, Union Misiter For State, Communications and Information technology, Govt of India and Chandrashekhar, Secretary IT, Govt of India.
At the convention, industry experts will debate and discuss the latest technologies and trends such as cloud computing, Android and web technologies and the much awaited 3G. To acknowledge the contribution of who are trying to achieve extra ordinary feat in the field of Information Technology, CSI is also holding the Awards for Excellence in IT.
