Avocent Ties Up With Neoteric Infomatique

US-based Avocent has announced a tie-up with Neoteric Infomatique to have a pan-India presence through the latter’s distribution network. Neoteric will distribute Avocent’s products such as local and remote switching, serial console servers, digital extension, embedded (IPMI), service processor managers, wireless, mobile and video display solutions.

Announcing the tie-up Floyd Britto, national manager Channels, Avocent said, “Today the KVM switch market as well as remote manageability of IT Infrastructure is growing very rapidly in India and availability is the key to gain mind and market share. This market is closely related to core infrastructure needs and hence it is important for us to have a strong presence across the country. neoteric will help us achieve our objective to have all India presence including Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.”

Through this tie-up Avocent will be able to reach to a wider audience through Neoteric’s distribution network of 6000 channel partners.
