Twitter split: Karan Singh Grover announces divorce with wife Jennifer Winget

Karan Singh Grover has been one of the top trends on Facebook since yesterday and it isn't for his upcoming film, Alone with Bipasha Basu. The actor, on Monday took to Twitter to announce his divorce with wife and actress Jennifer Winget.[caption id="attachment_1843173" align="alignleft" width="380"] Courtesy: Facebook[/caption]Grover and his wife have been separated for sometime now. However, Winget, few months back, told her fans on Twitter that all is well between them and there isn't anything to worry about.However, Grover on Monday finally confirmed that he and Winget are splitting. The actor revealed that the split is mutual and the reasons are too personal to be shared. Here are the tweets:      This will not be Grover's first divorce. The actor married Shraddha Nigam in 2002, however, the two were divorced within 10 months. Reports claimed that the divorce took place due to Grover's infidelity.This time too, several media reports claim that Grover is having an affair with Bipasha Basu, his Alone co-star. While it is hard to tell if there is any truth in the reports, some are also calling it a publicity stunt for the film. Grover and Winget fell in love on the sets of Dill Mill Gayye and Kasautii Zindagii Kay.While Winget hasn't talked about the divorce yet, Grover is busy interacting with the media and promoting Alone, the trailer of which was launched yesterday. Winget too is busy shooting Phir Se, the film with which Kunal Kohli will make his acting debut.This isn't the first celebrity divorce news that was broken on Twitter. Recently, Pooja Bhatt too took to the social media site to announce her split with husband Manish Makhija.
