#NolanInIndia: From Ghajini to The Dark Knight, here's what he already shares with us

The annual festival of IIT Bombay 'Mood Indigo' has always been well-known for having attracted some stellar talent. Prominent bands like Poets of the Fall, Porcupine Tree and celebrities like RD Burman, Asha Bhosle, Zakir Hussain, Anushka Sharma and Imraan Khan have been guests at the event. Courtesy: Twitter[/caption]Christopher Nolan, one of the most famous Hollywood directors in the world, known for making films like The Dark Knight trilogy, Memento, The Prestige and Inception, is coming to MoodI on 28 December.The official account of Mood Indigo on Twitter confirmed this news, which immediately sent a huge wave of excitement throughout the nation as #NolanInIndia instantly started trending on Twitter.However, Nolan's connection with India is older than this. This is not even the first time that he is coming to India. Here are some of the ways India and Nolan have interacted with each other:1. The 'anterograde amnesia' link: Everyone knows about this one. Bollywood's closest link with Christopher Nolan is that Aamir Khan-starrer Ghajini was a remake of Nolan's film Memento. The most important aspect of Ghajini, the anterograde amnesia of the protagonist due to which his short term memory lasts for a very limited period of time, was directly taken from Memento. Nolan's Jodhpur trip: Remember that iconic scene from The Dark Knight Rises when Bruce Wayne finally makes his way out of the Lazarus Pit and emerges out free in the open? That scene was shot in India. In fact, that was probably the first time Nolan visited India. Indians in Interstellar: According to this ABP News report, six students from the Apeejay School in Jalandhar will play a small part in Nolan's upcoming film Interstellar. Dhoom 3 and The Prestige: After Dhoom 3 was released, there was a lot of talk about how the movie might have actually been inspired by Nolan's The Prestige. Both Aamir Khan's character and the protagonists in The Prestige have a very important connection with magicians and magic tricks. And the climax of both the movies depends on a double role that was depicted in a very similar way.
