90's hit actress Mamta Kulkarni and her husband, Vicky Goswami were detained in Kenya today for alleged drug trafficking.

90's hit actress Mamta Kulkarni and her husband, Vicky Goswami, were detained in Kenya today for alleged drug trafficking.According to media reports the actress and her husband are currently being questioned by the police and if found guilty, she will be deported to India while her husband will be deported to United States.[caption id="attachment_1801733" align="alignleft" width="380"]
Courtesy: ibn live[/caption]Goswami, who previously lived in Dubai, was arrested for trafficking mandrax and was sentenced for 25 years, however, later he was released because of his good conduct.Kulkarni debuted with Tirangaa in 1992 and has several hits like Krantiveer (1994), Karan Arjun (1995) and Baazi (1996). The actress was considered the pin-up girl of the 90s and acted with several big stars in her time. However, in 2001, after Dev Anand's film Censor, she renounced filmdom and went away with Goswami to Dubai.Media reports claim that Goswami was let off last year in November and he along with Kulkarni shifted to Nairobi from Dubai. Reportedly the couple converted to Islam and own a real-estate and hotel business.
